The wars have taken a toll on our country that will be felt for generations to come.
As these wars now begin to draw down, the American dream has been lost for many returning soldiers. For many of the soldiers returning from war, they put careers on hold to serve our country due to their service in the reserves.
Thankfully, some of our nation’s leading companies are stepping up to ensure that these returning soldiers have careers to return to.
This week, I salute the Heroes who are Honoring our Heroes!
Through privately funded programs, companies like Wal-Mart, General Electric, AT&T and others are making sure that those who have fought for us, have a fighting chance for themselves when they return home.
While our government placed these heroes in war, our civilians will be the ones to welcome them home with hope.
This week’s Friday’s Heroes are the Companies and Organizations that are providing a future for our Heroes as they return home from war!

It’s Memorial Day Weekend.
These heroes honor us with their service and sacrifice. They are heroes not just once a year, but every day of the year.
This weekend honor the fallen, honor those who serve and honor those who sacrifice for all of us.
This week and every week our Heroes are the Veterans, Active Duty Servicemen and women and their families who sacrifice for our liberties on a daily basis.
It is up to us whether we accept the challenges and move forward or stick our head in the sand and let the challenge take over.
Today I salute the people who overcome incredible obstacles, the ones who take tragedy and make triumph.
Those people who OVERCOME with greatness and grace are this week’s Heroes of the Week….
One such hero was featured by Diane Sawyer on World News earlier this week. We met her on the day of the Sandy Hook tragedy, today she has taken the sadness of that day, the beauty of the days that followed and paid it forward….. Kaitlin Roig has proven that the best of us is often found in the worst of us.
