Big Brother Season 15 Finale – #BB15

bb15As I write this we are one hour from the start of season 15’s finale of Big Brother.

Tonight either Spencer, GinaMarie or Andy will win $500,000 and be named the champion of Big Brother Season 15.  For the first time ever I can honestly say I could care less who wins.

I have been a fan of this show since season one and I can say without a doubt season 15 of Big Brother was by far the worst in the series history.   Not only were the players uninteresting, the game itself was overly predictable and just boring.

CBS has some major decisions to make before Sweet 16 hits the airwaves because another year like this one will quickly signal the end of this summer staple.

In my opinion the fixes are easy ones to make, hopefully someone will listen and resurrect the greatness of this show.

NEW GAMES:  One of the major problems with this season was the predictability of the whole thing.  For many of us, (including the cast) we could predict when the Double Eviction would take place, what game was being played next and when outside characters would surface.  Each year we are told to “expect the unexpected,” sadly, there was nothing unexpected about this season.

ELIMINATE THE HAVE-NOTS SEGMENT OF THE SHOW:   Years ago the “slop” competitions were fun, they added an interesting element to the show and were good for a laugh, not anymore.  Now the cast fights to ensure their ability not to be cast as a “have-not” with silly food combinations and inhumane sleeping conditions, this element of the game has run its course.  Additionally, this part of the game has proven to exhaust the characters to their core, keeping them in bed more than as active participants in the show.

KEEP THE TRIPLE NOMINATIONS…..WITH A TWIST:  This year’s addition of triple nominations was fun, however now future casts will expect it and play to the twist.  My thought is, make the triple nomination random, some weeks there are two, others three and you never know when it will change.  Let some of the triple noms be from a Fan Favorite and other times be from America‘s Choice…. mix it up, really be a show where you expect the unexpected.

GET THE CAST IN THE GAME:  This year one of the most frustrating parts of the show was the casts inability to actually be part of the show.  For weeks on end, this cast slept all day and lay around all night…. give them something to do each day, make them get up and get in the game.  If the cast is not made to be part of the show they won’t be…… they are being paid to participate, let’s see more participation!

NO MORE SUPERFANSI consider myself a superfan of Big Brother, it is my guilty pleasure, however as a superfan, I bring nothing to the show as a character.  The best thing CBS and the casting directors can do is get people on this show who don’t know the formula.  Within hours of entering the house, McCrae was already telegraphing the show this year.  Helen, Amanda, Spencer, Aaryn et al brought nothing NEW to the show, they brought predictable insider knowledge that gave us the most disappointing season in BB history.   Send the casting directors out to universities, bars, sporting events, malls get new blood in the game.   Cast the cast without knowing they are auditioning for Big Brother, do something just mix it up.

Big Brother still has life, but another season like this one will put it on life support….CBS needs to fluff it up, freshen it up and go back to the drawing board and make it interesting again.  At one time, Big Brother was a great example of human nature and interaction, this year it was neither, I hope CBS won’t make this same mistake again.

Big Brother 15, Episode 30, #POV, #BB15

bb15Oh what a week, if you don’t know what is going on in this house that is not on the CBS show you are missing out!  I don’t watch the PPV feeds, but the blogs and discussion boards have been burning up with some interesting info.   No matter what you see tonight, if CBS shows everything tomorrow night you will have your mouth dropped open before the eviciton!

SO much going to happen before tomorrow night’s DOUBLE EVICTION…. one of which SHOULD/BETTER/MUST be Amanda!

SPOILERS BELOW:

The show begins with Amanda in tears as she is blind sided by GinaMarie for eviction.

Amanda and McCrae are both shown in diary room in tears over the blind side.

Amanda confronts Spencer and Andy saying GinaMarie must be cahoots with Spencer, Elissa and Judd.  Spencer denies all.

Amanda goes to GinaMarie to ask why she is nominated and wants to know the logic.  Amanda still goes after Elissa, claiming she would never come after her.

GM tells Amanda that Aaryn did the dirty work for Amanda and when she needed her most she turned her back on Aaryn.

GM fills Amanda in on all the secrets of Aaryn and Elissa’s plan to nominate Amanda…. suddenly Amanda finds out she hasn’t been running the house after all, LOTS of things have been going on behind her back and it has now all caught up to her.

Andy and Judd go to the HOH to break up the GM/Amanda argument.  As usual, Amanda loses what is left of her mind.  Judd stands up to Amanda and she runs from the argument.

Amanda breaks down and says she no longer wants to be in the house crying…. oh boo hoo for you psycho Amanda.  GinaMarie makes the best statement of the night… “if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.”  LOVE IT!

Amanda cries to McCrae about how she can’t believe the others are against her.  Amanda is sure Spencer and Judd have turned against her, but thinks Andy is still on her side.

Amanda and McCrae pledge their love to each other.

SIDE NOTE…. I FEEL ZERO COMPASSION FOR AMANDA AND HER TEARS, her cruelty has made it impossible to feel any sympathy for her.

Elissa listens to Amanda and Andy through the pantry door as they both trash her.  Spencer catches her and tells Amanda and Andy she was listening.

POWER OF VETO COMPETITORS SELECTION:

Players,

GinaMarie,

Amanda,

McCrae,

Elissa, (Amanda pulls house guests choice and she chooses Spencer) &

Andy

GinaMarie announces that Judd and Spencer can remove their chicken costumes as their punishment is over.

Elissa tells Judd she doesn’t trust Andy and feels like he is working both sides of the house.  Judd tells Andy about Elissa’s concerns.

Judd, Spencer, Andy and GinaMarie are feeling very comfortable with their Final Four chances.

POWER OF VETO COMPETITION:

Everyone in tutu’s a bowling competition.

Round One:  Amanda vs. Elissa, winner is – Amanda

Round Two: Andy vs. Amanda, winner is –  Amanda

Round Three: GinaMarie vs. Amanda, winner is – Amanda

Round Four: McCrae vs. Spencer, winner is – McCrae

Final Round for POWER OF VETO:  McCrae vs. Amanda both of them know that they MUST win or else they go home.  They understand the loser of this match will most likely be evicted and McCrae uses the analogy of Old Yeller, he knows he has to take her out in the field and put her down…….and the POV Winner is…. McCrae

BB15 MCCRAE

Amanda and McCrae both break down in exhausted heaps and the rest of the cast comes to help them in their pain.  Ironically you know Amanda would not have done the same for the other house guests.

Amanda knows she is being evicted and McCrae and Amanda hug while the other cast members give them time alone to comfort each other.

POWER OF VETO CEREMONY:

McCrae uses the POV on himself and GinaMarie nominates Spencer as a pawn in his place.

Final nominations for eviction tomorrow night…..

BB15 SPENCER  BB15 AMANDA

It looks like the witch will be leaving the house tomorrow night with someone coming out the door right after her…. don’t forget it is DOUBLE EVICTION NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Brother 15 Episode 28, #Eviction, #HOH

bb15It’s Thursday night and Aaryn is going to the jury house.  It will probably be a unanimous vote as Aaryn has given GinaMarie the go ahead to vote for her so she can stay with the house.

The real story tonight will be who wins the HOH and takes control of the house.  There are three sides….  Judd and GinaMarie or Amanda and McCrae or Spencer and Andy.

My guess is Andy and Spencer will throw the competition in the HOH because they can float to either side of the house and be safe.  The real competition is Judd/GinaMarie and Amanda/McCrae.    I think we all know who I am pulling for…. GO JUDD! (or GinaMarie)

Ok kids let’s get this underway and see what happens…. my big question for the night…. will Julie Chen do the interview with Aaryn that we have all been hoping for?  I am not looking for her to tell her she doesn’t have a job to go home to, but I do want to see her held accountable for some of her comments.

SPOILERS BELOW:

Julie Chen, hot dress, bad shoes with Andy adjusting his underwear in the background.

As the show recaps, Amanda continues her tirade of nasty, she is a horrible person.  Amanda attacks on very personal ugly levels, she doesn’t play the game, she tears people apart.

The other house guests are very uncomfortable with the way Amanda is treating Elissa.

In the backyard GinaMarie, Spencer, Judd and Andy form an alliance… the Exterminators.  For all of them, Amanda is the target.

Amanda tells Aaryn she will be voting to keep Andy.

GinaMarie tells Aaryn she has her vote.  In diary GInaMarie says she has to have a backup and keeping Andy is the backup.

Spencer and Judd do not commit to Aaryn to keep her.

In a live interview with former BB Winner and great Dan tells Julie that Amanda is really only one of the people actually playing the game this year.  Dan says Amanda is a brat and the crowd cheers in agreement.

Dan says he is a Judd fan.  WOOHOO Dan!!!  Dan want’s Judd to win.

Talking with former Showmance couples Rachel and Brendon who are now married.   Brendon still doesn’t talk much.   Rachel is still way too annoying.

Dani and Dominic a new couple from Season 13, now married.  Both still cute and together a cute couple.

My favorite showmance of all time Jeff and Jordan are still together after four years.  Still cutting up and joking with each other but not married yet.  Jeff needs to put a ring on it!

As we go to commercial Julie teases that either Aaryn or Andy will be evicted next and they both have a lot of explaining to do…. will she go there?  I think she will plant seeds but not eviscerate Aaryn.

EVICTION VOTE:

JUDD:  Aaryn

SPENCER:  Aaryn

GINAMARIE:  Aaryn

AMANDA:  Aaryn

MCCRAE:  Aaryn

BB 15 AARYNUnanimous vote, Aaryn is evicted from the Big Brother House.

Ok Julie it is now your turn!

EVICTION INTERVIEW:

Julie says she cannot give Aaryn any feedback or information from the outside world.  As Aaryn walks out she gets mixed reception of applause and boos.

Julie brings up the racism and ask for a response.  Aaryn pulls the southern card and says that she was taken out of context.  Julie reads back to Aaryn her actual words and Aaryn says she doesn’t remember making the comments, the audience laughs at her.

Julie asks Aaryn if she learned anything in the house and Aaryn says yes.

Aaryn is obviously concerned by her comments and once again blames it on Texas.  Julie tells Aaryn she hopes she has a new perspective on things when she watches the season in review.

Julie did it!  Aaryn knows she is in a pile of shit.

HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD COMPETITION:

It’s going to be a long one unfortunately.

Who will win?  I guess I will be posting a spoiler tomorrow morning.  McCrae could win this, however I think Amanda is FAR too impatient to win.  GinaMarie could be a factor and if Andy is trying he should be good at this one.

Julie teases an announcement regarding next week’s eviction…. Double Eviction????

Yep, it’s another DOUBLE EVICTION NIGHT!!!!

Watch for my spoiler tomorrow morning to see who wins.

Big Brother 15 Episode 27, #POV, #VetoComp

bb15

On the season premier of Season 15, this past Sunday night, we saw Elissa win the Head of Household while being joined in the house by Judd,  Elissa nominated Aaryn and McCrae for eviction.

Let’s now catch up with episode 2.

SPOILERS BELOW:

Tears from Aaryn over being nominated, she knows she has the most blood on her hands and she is afraid she can’t be saved.

Amanda thinks she can find a way to keep both of her allies safe.

GinaMarie tells Aaryn that Amanda and McCrae can’t be trusted, she knows they can’t win anything and need Aaryn to do their dirty work.

Amanda and Elissa talk about POV evictions and Elissa tells Amanda that GinaMarie would be the second nominee.  Amanda is worried that she would be the renomination if one of her people are removed from the block.

In diary, Elissa speaks openly of putting Amanda up as a renomination after the POV competition.  She shares her strategy with Judd.  Elissa then tells Aaryn she would like to backdoor Amanda.

VETO COMPETITION SELECTIONS:

Those playing in the competition are:

Elissa

Aaryn

McCrae

Amanda – Elissa selected her from the bag of chips.

GinaMarie – chosen by McCrae from the chips

Judd – selected by Aaryn when she got the Houseguest Choice chip

Amanda is concerned as to why Aaryn picked Judd as her “house guests choice.”  As usual Amanda goes apoplectic on Aaryn for selecting Judd.

After a fight between GinaMarie, Elissa and Amanda, McCrae asks Amanda to please chill out.

Amanda goes to Elissa and tells her GM is talking behind her back and she shouldn’t trust her.

Amanda continues to push Elissa asking her if she is going to backdoor her.  Elissa laughs in her face because she is being so aggressive.  Amanda turns on the crocodile tears and fakes it.  Elissa enjoys having Amanda where she wants her and just needs to make sure anyone but Amanda wins the POV competition.

The return of ZINGBOT 3000, as the house guests sleep.  It is time for a houseguest roast!  He calls all the house guests out on their “weaknesses.”  Most of the house guests take it well… MOST of them!

POV COMPETITION:

Andy is still upset with Zingbot 3000 for calling him out as a floater.  The contestants in the competition running from one side to the other picking up their rolling ball, the winner is the first to 250 points.

Aaryn, McCrae, GinaMarie and Elissa all have to start over after dropping their ball.

The competition is between Amanda and Judd.

Judd drops his ball and has to start over, Amanda is far in the lead.

Amanda is going slow and steady.  GinaMarie is in second place.

BB15 AMANDA Amanda wins the Power of Veto…. ugh.  No one but McCrae is happy.  She will remove McCrae and since she won POV she can’t be renominated.

After the house guests return to the house, Amanda is so proud of herself for winning something.  Andy is concerned he will be the replacement nominee.

Amanda decides to attack Elissa and her game, since she is now safe she is in her face and being a total biotch!  What else is new!?!?!?!

Amanda is convinced if she annoys Elissa enough she can get GinaMarie put up on the block instead of Andy.  She yells through the house and drops NASTY comments constantly…. NO CLASS!  It’s a game Amanda, try to have some infancy of class!

The other house guests see exactly what kind of person Amanda is… nasty skank!  Sidenote, all the pasta that Amanda has constantly been eating since she went in the house is REALLY starting to show!

Andy goes to Elissa to “check on her” and “apologise” for how horrible Amanda is acting.

POV CEREMONY:

Amanda uses the veto on McCrae.

Elissa renominates with Andy on the block.

BB 15 AARYN  BB15 ANDY

More than likely we will FINALLY get that Julie Chen interview with Aaryn this week.  If for no other reason, that should be enjoyable.

Aaryn and Andy both say the 3AM alliance is over in diary and they will be gunning for McCrae and Amanda from this time forward.  It appears that everyone in the house will be working against McCranda now.

Big Brother 15, Episode 25 #Eviction, #HOH, #Return2theHouse

bb15In my mind tonight is the most important night of Season 15 on Big Brother.  Tonight will either be the point where this season begins a turn around and salvages itself or it continues down the pathway of being the worst season ever of this classic show.

There is a lot riding on tonight and honestly I don’t have a lot of faith that things inside the BB house will change after tonight, but I would love to be wrong.

It’s Thursday night, someone (Helen) is being evicted.  We have a conpetition between the four evicted house guests for someone to reenter the game and then we will have a Head of Household competition that I anticipate will be an endurance match-up.

Let’s see what’s going to happen….

SPOILERS BELOW…..

Black and white asymmetrical dress, sexy straight hair and sensible open-toe pumps… Julie looks hot tonight.

Recap of the week, Helen begins her campaign to stay in the house with Elissa, Aaryn and GinaMarie.  When Andy joins the conversation, he lies to Helen saying that he is voting to keep her in the house.

Helen is pulling the we are the good guys speech against the bullies.  How ironic for Helen to use this speech is and Andy sees through it and challenges her over what she is saying.

Andy runs to Amanda and tells her what was said.

Helen goes to McCrae for his support.  Helen tells McCrae to stand up to Amanda and asks what his life will be like with her in the future.  She asks him why he is scared of her, McCrae says Amanda is pushy, but Helen is the same kind of pushy.

So far Helen has pissed off Andy and McCrae with her appeals to get their votes.

Elissa threatens Andy with eviction if he doesn’t keep Helen in the house.   They tell him if he votes Helen out, there is a target on his head….. Andy begins to freak and the camera cuts to LIVE in the house and Julie on the stage.

EVICTION VOTE:

MCCRAE:  Helen

AMANDA:  Helen

ELISSA:  Spencer

ANDY:  Helen

GINAMARIE:  Helen

BB15 HELENEVICTED FROM THE HOUSE:  Helen

Helen leaves the house in tears.

We get a visit to the Jury House with the evicted house guests recapping what has been going on in the house.  The HG want Helen and Amanda out of the house ans promise revenge when they go back in.

EVICTION COMPETITION AND HOH COMPETITION:

Julie announces the competition to the HouseGuests…  Andy looks terrified and Amanda looks like she just swallowed a box of jalapeno, no one looks very excited and the competition will take place in front of the houseguest in the house.

Evicted house guests now compete for a chance to return to the house.  Playing in the competition are:

BB15 HELEN  BB15 JESSIE  BB15 JUDD  BB15 CANDICE

Helen, Jessie, Judd and Candice

And the HOH competition take place together.  Everyone is standing on a ledge and need to catch 10 balls, whoever catches 10 first is the HOH and if that person is an evicted HG they are the one who comes back in the house.

Looks like a fun competition, with water, balance, balls and ten pissed off house guests all wanting to be in control.
