Life’s Playlist…… The Best of Julia Sugarbaker, Designing Women

One of my favorite television shows ever was “Designing Women.”

Set in an Atlanta interior design studio, Sugarbaker’s was the home to Julia, Charlene, Mary Jo and Suzanne.

The show took on social issues, friendships, body image, racial and sexual injustice and created water cooler conversation on a weekly basis.  The issues were all handled with humor and sensitivity.

Designing Women premiered on this date in 1986.

In leau of music, today’s playlist features two of the greatest speeches ever on a television comedy.  From the lips of Julia Sugarbaker….. the terminator!

Life’s Playlist…. Hey Jude by The Beatles
