You have probably seen the video, heard the song or read about this week’s Friday’s Hero.

A beautiful story of love, loss, compassion and giving back.

Fred and his wife Lorraine were together for 75 years.  She recently died.

Fred sat down and in his grief, wrote the lyrics of a song he called “Oh Sweet Lorraine.”

After writing his song, he heard about a production contest being hosted by Green Shoe Studios.

Fred submitted his song in a brown envelope with handwritten letter and lyrics.

The rest of the story is what makes heroes.
